Giana Vintage Glass Serving Bowl

A large and striking vintage studio fused glass bowl, with scattered jewel-like chunks of colored art glass in blue, purple, amber, teal, and white fused onto a clear textured ground. The bowl was formed by slumping flat glass over a mold in a kiln, creating the shallow wide shape and the radiating surface texture. Each colored element was then applied and fired separately, partially melting into the surface while retaining its own organic form and texture. Fine etched lines in the clear ground add a subtle additional layer of detail. A genuinely one-of-a-kind studio piece with real artistic character
