A delightful vintage Alpine folk pottery pitcher with a deep black high-gloss glaze decorated with hand-painted green and brown floral scrollwork and trailing cream dot borders applied with a slip trailer. The warm mustard yellow interior is a hallmark of the Alpine Hafnerware tradition, where folk potters across Switzerland, Austria, and the Alsace region produced painted earthenware with this distinctive color contrast.
