Soline Vintage Ceramic Tray

A beautifully crafted vintage American studio ceramic tray with twin braided and knotted clay handles and a lace-impressed surface texture in warm cream and pale blue. The lace impression technique, where actual lace fabric is pressed into the clay before firing, creates a delicate doily-like pattern across the interior surface, with a soft blue glaze pooling at the center. The braided handles were formed from hand-rolled coils of clay and attached before firing, adding an elegant and labor-intensive finishing detail. Signed on the base by the artist
