Lago Vintage Glass Vase

A beautiful vintage crackle glass vase in sea green with a contrasting cobalt blue rim, combining two classic handblown glass techniques into one graceful object. The crackle effect is achieved by plunging the hot glass into cold water mid-blow, causing the surface to craze, then re-inflating to seal the cracks within the glass wall and create the distinctive all-over mosaic pattern. The cobalt rim was applied as a separate gather of colored glass and fused to the edge, adding a jewel-like finish to the wide flared collar. A piece that catches light beautifully from every angle
