A bold and beautiful West German ceramic pitcher from the 1960s–70s, featuring a large applied relief sunflower rosette medallion in deep burgundy and teal against a textured body that transitions from sandy cream at the top to dark brown-black at the base. The rough, pockmarked surface texture gives the body an organic, earthy quality that contrasts beautifully with the vivid colors of the applied medallion. A ribbed teal collar at the rim and a matching teal handle tie the composition together with real craft thoughtfulness.
