Ugue Vintage Ceramic Pitcher

A magnificent vintage Eastern European folk pottery pitcher with a deep forest green high-gloss glaze and an elaborate hand-painted botanical composition wrapping the entire body in white, yellow, burgundy, and black. The flowing feather and flower motifs, white dot clusters, and fine trailing lines were all painted freehand in a single confident session in the tradition of Troyan-style Eastern European decorative ceramics. A diamond chain border at the neck and zigzag band at the base frame the composition with precision.
